Josh King is a Partner in the Boston office and leads Ridgeway’s technology practice with a successful track record in senior-level executive and board recruiting in both the business to business and direct-to-consumer markets. Josh recruits cross-functionally across the technology, data science, product, sales and marketing functions for both privately held and publicly traded firms. He also works closely with Private Equity and Venture Capital firms to recruit senior leaders to their portfolio companies.

Josh advises companies on how to attract and retain digitally transformative talent at the board and executive level. He has assembled digital advisory boards in addition to appointing digital advisory directors with expertise in data analytics, machine learning, cybersecurity, e-commerce, cloud infrastructure, demand generation, social media and digital marketing.

Previously, Josh led sales for a private equity-backed data aggregation software company.  Josh also created his own e-commerce site, which brought the work of over 40 artists to market.

Josh has been a featured author and speaker for Harvard Business Review, CIO Magazine, Financial Times and the MIT Sloan Management Review. He currently serves on the Advisory Board of IADSS (the Initiative for Analytics & Data Science Standards), B/Spoke and Harvard Club of Boston’s Advisory Board. He previously served on Handel & Haydn Society’s Digital Advisory Board and as an Advisor to MassChallenge, a global startup accelerator and competition with a focus on high-impact, early-stage entrepreneurs.

Josh received a BA in Government and Legal Studies from Bowdoin College. While at Bowdoin, he was a member of the Men’s Squash team.
