ABOUT ROB

Rob is a Partner in the New York office and senior member of the firm’s Private Equity, Banking & Capital Markets, Board, and Financial Officers practices.

Before transitioning into executive search, Rob spent over two decades as an M&A and Financial Sponsors investment banker advising C-suite executives, investors, and Boards on strategic initiatives. He brings deep experience recruiting senior executives, Board members, and investment professionals for private equity firms, their portfolio companies, and public companies.

Having spent his entire career in financial services, Rob brings expertise recruiting financial officers, placing many private equity-backed and public company CFOs and helping build out their teams, including FP&A leaders, corporate controllers, chief accounting officers, tax leaders, and divisional finance executives.

Rob began his search career at Egon Zehnder, where he was a Principal and a core member of the firm’s Private Equity, Financial Services, and Financial Officers practices. He also served as a Partner and senior member of the Private Equity, Corporate, and Board practices at Diversified Search Group. Most recently, Rob served as a Managing Director at PierceGray, where he focused on recruiting finance and operational leaders for private equity-backed portfolio companies

Prior to his career in search, Rob served as a Managing Director at Fair Oaks Capital and IMB Partners. He helped establish the New York office of Lincoln International and was a founding Partner at Watch Hill Partners. Previously, he served as Vice President in the M&A and Financial Sponsors Coverage groups at Bowles Hollowell Conner and began his investment banking career as a Financial Analyst in the M&A group at Goldman Sachs, later rejoining the firm as a Vice President.

Rob received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Morehouse College, where he was class valedictorian.
